...and then, it was a year later!
First of all,
Happy New Year 2022, or is it?!
Well, what happened during the last year?
What can I say, surprisingly more than one would imagine!
Sure, the start of the year was very slow due to COVID, and I wasn’t very successful in grabbing roles during the summer months, but as usual the end of the year picked up and I was waaaay busy!
Also, I kept myself busy with various side projects and activities.
So let’s have a look, shall we!? (in non sequential order)
First and foremost, I finished the Masterclass in Screen Acting at the Actors Studio UK at Pinewood Studios! Time to find an Agent!
So, check out my new showreel:
Also, while I was over there in London I had new headshots taken by Rory Lewis:

Also, at the start of 2021 I began a creative project and cooperation with Nell Killius
Creating a series of Rembrandt inspired studio pictures. I think they turned out fantastic and I hope we can do other picture styles in the future as well!
I haven’t finished working on all of them yet, but we already have most on show on the instagram page
or just check out the gallery:

Nell was also so kind to snap a couple of shots of me for myself. They turned out great!

As for commercial work, I only shot three during the last year. Sadly, I can only show one, because the ERGO Insurance commercial was/is somehow on TV but I can’t find it online (everyone except me has seen it already, which kinda bugs me to no end. If one of you finds it, please send it to me!), and the aidFIVE campaign that I shot in November hasn’t aired yet (hopefully this month). It’s gonna be big, at least that’s what I’ve been told.
I will write about it when it hits the airwaves!
Nonetheless, what I can show, is my small participation at the end of the latest mydays ad campaign:
In the end, 2022 starts the same way as 2021 did.
We all come back from the holidays, castings are always going on, some are hits most are misses, and everybody hopes that this year will be better than the ones prior.
I hope that this year, I will finally manage to find an agent and snag a part in a series or film, or that my business takes off (more on that maybe at a later point in time). A heck, why not both!? A man can dream!
